This project was produced 100% digitally. I used Fractal Painter to create the brush stroke. Opening it in Adobe Photoshop, I colorized it increasing the saturation (of color) to produce a vivid rainbow spectrum. The wood and marble textures were imported from a texture "cd" after which I made heavy use of channels and layers to create the repeating pattern on the wood and the edge effect on the marble. The word EarthSong was rasterized from an Adobe Illustrator file after which I used Kai's Power Tools to apply the gradient. After all elements were created I positioned each piece then applied a shadow to the elements which I wanted to float. Saved the final piece as a CMYK Tif and Placed it in Adobe Pagemaker where I positioned it and added the final type to the front and back. The digital file was then sent to a service bureau to be printed out using a digital press, The Indigo E-print 1000. The color is vivid!
