We handle every aspect in the preparation of the computer file from which your final printed piece is printed by working closely within the specs from our/your printer.
If however, I will be working with your printer, I will definitely need to talk to the production manager or equivalent before bidding on the project.
Final assembly and layout of all text and graphics is done in Adobe Pagemaker, my layout software of choice, on an IBM compatible workstation.
Initial Proofs will be from an Epson Inkjet. Once the initial Color Inkjet proofs are client-approved the file is completed, transfered to the Syquest disc and delivered to the printer. Once the Printer receives the file, they will open it, check-it and overnight a pre-press digital proof (possibly a Digital Watermark Color Proof) which must receive a final approval. Once approved the signed approval is faxed back to the printer and the job is ready to be printed.
